Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information uboord collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

1.What we collect

Account information: your name, work email, role, organization name, country and the plan you are on.

Workspace content: the tasks, taskboards, links, files, comments and workload settings you create.

Technical information: device and browser type, approximate location derived from an IP address, and pages visited inside the product.

Business inquiries: whatever you choose to send through the contact form — name, email, role, company and your message.

2.Why we use it

We use the information to:

  • Run the service — render your boards, calculate workload and send alerts.
  • Bill the right account and prevent abuse.
  • Answer support and business inquiries.
  • Understand which features are used so we can improve them.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use your workspace content for advertising.

3.Who we share it with

Inside your organization, visibility follows the workspace hierarchy: employees see their own and shared tasks, heads see their department, owners see the organization. Private taskboards stay with their creator.

Outside your organization, we share data only with the service providers who host, secure and support the product, and only as far as needed to do that work. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

4.How long we keep it

Workspace content is kept while your account is active. Items you delete go to Trash and are removed permanently when Trash is emptied or after the retention window.

Account and billing records are kept for as long as we are legally required to keep them. Business inquiry messages are kept for up to twenty-four months.

5.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, write to legal@uboord.app. We will respond within the time your local law requires.

6.Security

Access to production data is restricted to the people who need it, traffic is encrypted in transit, and we review access regularly. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
